Logan Street Connection

Project Map

The City is currently constructing the Logan Street Connection Project as part of the Round Rock Transportation Master Plan. This project is a part of the City’s neighborhood connectivity program and will improve emergency response times to adjacent neighborhoods. This project will connect E. Logan Street and Logan Drive, between Greenlawn Boulevard and A.W. Grimes Boulevard, including pedestrian improvements. Greater Lake Creek Trail will not be impacted by this project and a bridge will be constructed over Turtle Creek tributary. Construction began in June 2020 and is anticipated to conclude in July 2021.

Improvements include:

  • Constructing a two-lane extension of Logan Street to A.W. Grimes Boulevard with bridge over Dry Branch Tributary 1
  • Connecting Heritage Springs Trail to Logan Street
  • Adding sidewalks to both sides of Logan Street
  • Connecting trails to Logan Street sidewalks for improved walk-ability to the school and recreation center

Community Involvement

The project team shared initial plans and collected feedback during two public meetings held on Oct. 4, 2018 and April 2, 2019. Below are links to materials from the 2018 meeting.
