The ultimate goal of this project is to have a railroad quiet zone from Burnet Road to Red Bud. This project will include upgrading the crossings to be compliant with federal regulations and quiet zone mandates. Quad gates and new electronics will be installed at the crossing. Preemption will also be implemented at all railroad crossings. All of the crossing have been upgraded and compliant with federal regulations. Currently waiting for traffic signal poles for the Brushy Creek Plant Road intersection.
