Donut Dash 5K

May 9 @ 7:00 am – 11:00 am

Accept the ultimate donut challenge and join us for the 8th Annual Round Rock Donut Dash 5K on Saturday, May 9th, 2026. Warm up for the race at 6:45am at the starting line to get ready for a whirlwind of fun. Race starts in Downtown Round Rock, at Prete Plaza (221 E Main St.) at 7:00AM (No LATE start past 7:05am). In this unique event you’ll refuel with a mid-point pit stop for a donut (or a dozen!) from your favorite local donut shop. Join us for the post race after party at the finish line!

Register for the Challenger Division and put yourself to the ultimate test! Run half a 5k, eat a dozen donuts, and finish the run, all under one hour to complete the challenge!  We also will have a Casual Division for those who want to run the race and eat their donuts on their own time and a ZERO K Division for those who just want to eat donuts and cheer the racers on.

PACKET PICKUP

PACKET PICKUP will be at the Round Rock Parks and Recreation Main Office (301 W. Bagdad) on:
– Thursday, May 7th from 12pm – 5pm
– Friday, May 8th from 8am – 5pm

LATE PACKET PICKUP will be at Prete Plaza (221 E. Main St.) on:
– Saturday, May 9th from 6am – 7am

*Please keep in mind that Late Packet Pickup may experience long wait times due to a high volume of participants. We recommend packet pickup on Thursday or Friday to avoid any delays on race day.

SCHEDULE OF EVENTS

  • 6:50am – Warm Up at Starting Line (Prete Plaza – 221 E. Main St.)
  • 7:00am – Race Starts (Prete Plaza – 221 E. Main St.)
  • 8:00-11:00am – After-Party / Spectator Area Opens (Centennial Plaza – 301 W Bagdad Ave.)

SWAG

Registered participants get commemorative donut swag and a dozen donuts. Participants in the 12 & Up division receive a dozen donuts and 11 & under division get one dozen donut holes. Challenger participants will receive a Finisher award if they are able to finish the 5k and donut feast in one hour or less.

Make sure you stick around for the Post Race After Party!!! Join us for the Finish Line Fun with music beats provided by a local DJ, fun themed food, yard games, and drinks immediately following the race!
