From Sam Bass Theatre Association: “Sam Bass Theatre Association will present BETWEEN THE OUTLAW & THE ROCK, a play steeped in Round Rock history, at Old Settlers Association December 18-20. Curtain time is 7:30pm for all shows, with an additional 3pm matinee on Saturday, December 20. Written and directed by Central Texas resident and artist, Peg Patrone, BETWEEN THE OUTLAW & THE ROCK is a reworked revival of the sold-out run of the same title from February 2024. Featuring a cast of talented local actors, OUTLAW follows the stories of local legends A.W. Grimes, Sam Bass, and a plethora of other colorful characters that fill the new town at the Round Rock crossing along the Chisholm Trail.
