Door-to-Door Sales
Identification cards for door-to-door sales are required if personal contact with residents is to be made. Applications are accepted from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday, at the Round Rock Police Department, located at 2701 N. Mays Street. There is a flat fee of $50 per permit, and ID cards are valid for three months.
Please note that some neighborhood associations do not permit door-to-door sales, and you may not sell in those neighborhoods even with a valid identification card.
Requirements:
- A valid license or ID
- A copy of your criminal history from the Texas Department of Public Safety (IdentoGO)
- Please allow 48 hours for the application to be reviewed
- Appointments should be made for groups of three or more.
