Bubbles and Music Fun
October 14, 2023 @ 11:00 am – 12:00 pm

Round Rock Public Library presents a low-key version of Family Storytime this week because of the Annular Eclipse happening at the same time.
The eclipse begins around 10:30 a.m., peaks just before noon, and concludes around 1:30 p.m.
We’ll have bubbles and music available for the kids while the annular eclipse unfolds overhead. Weather permitting, we’ll be outside with a handful of tools to safely view the eclipse. Otherwise, we’ll have a livestream of the eclipse playing indoors.
The annular eclipse is the final event of the Library’s One Community Four Books series.
We will be providing a few safe options to view the annular eclipse, but please note that we will not be distributing eclipse glasses at this activity. This event is primarily a way to make sure families who are at the library Oct. 14 have the opportunity to view this rare wonder.
Rather than hosting an official eclipse activity, the Library is encouraging families to organize their own Eclipse Watching Parties in your own neighborhood. We’ve collected resources to help you host a safe and fun annular eclipse viewing party with your family and friends.
