Flashlight Egg Hunt

April 2 @ 6:00 pm – 10:00 pm

The sun has set and the moon shines bright; Join us for an egg hunt in the night.
A treat filled hunt ring waits for you; Eggs, Candy, Prizes and lots of fun too!
Bring your flashlight and a basket to fill; It’s so exciting you can’t sit still!
We encourage fair play and friendliness too; So please hunt nicely, it’s the right thing to do!
You won’t want to miss so join in on the fun; Stay for a movie when the hunt is done!

Join your Parks and Recreation Department for the annual Flashlight Egg Hunt taking place Thursday, April 2nd from 6 to 10pm at Old Settlers Park.

Tickets for this event are PRE-SALE ONLY! A limited number of participants are allowed in each hunt; purchase tickets early to ensure your space. Early registration (Aug 1 – March 3) fees are $7 per hunter; late registration (begins March 4) fees are $10. Participants can only register for one hunt. Parents DO NOT need to register.

We ask that you please arrive at least 30-45 minutes early to ensure you are able to attend your designated hunt time.

Tickets are AVAILABLE NOW!

7:00pm: Parent Assisted Hunt for ages 0-4 years: Not quite as dark for our younger hunters. Only one parent will be allowed in the hunt ring to assist, parent must stay with hunter at all times. Please only register the hunters. Parents DO NOT need to register.

8:00pm: Twilight Parent Assisted Hunt for ages 5 years and older: One parent will be allowed in the hung ring to assist, parent must stay with hunter at all times. Hunt occurs shortly after sunset, recommended for our younger hunters. Parents DO NOT need to register.

8:30pm: Flashlight Parent Assisted Hunt for ages 5 years and older: One parent will be allowed in the hung ring to assist, parent must stay with hunter at all times. Hunt ring will be dark, recommended for our younger hunters. Parents DO NOT need to register.

9:00pm: Flashlight Children Only Hunt: NO parents allowed in the hunt ring. Hunt ring will be dark, recommended for our older hunters.

**Parents, you know your child best; please choose the hunt most appropriate for them.**

WRISTBAND PICK UP:

A wristband is required to enter the hunt ring. A receipt and/or participant’s name is required to pick up the wristband.

We highly encourage you to pick up your wristband BEFORE the event during the below times, at the Clay Madsen Recreation Center, 1600 Gattis School Road Round Rock, 78664

  • Saturday, March 28th from 8am – 5pm
  • Sunday, March 29th from 12pm – 5pm
  • Monday, March 30th from 12pm – 8pm

Wristband pickup will be available at the event site beginning at 5:00pm in the Wristband Pickup & Prize Redemption Tent.

*The Round Rock Parks and Recreation Department reserves the right to modify, relocate and/or cancel a special event due to forecasted weather and/or turf conditions that may cause the event site to be unsafe or unsuitable for event activities.  If a special event is cancelled, a program credit may be given to registered participants at the discretion of the Parks and Recreation Director. This will be communicated to registered participants via email within one week after the event date.
