Lunch and Learn: The Army Colony, Interstate 35, and 1956 Round Rock, Texas

October 28 @ 12:00 pm 1:00 pm

Tim Todd’s Round Rock roots run deep. Three generations of Todd men and their families have made a significant impact on Central Texas. His grandparents are known to Round Rock as being part of the Army Colony and renovating the old Mexican School, located in Old Town, and turning it into their residence in 1953. Their voices advocated for the preservation of these structures and local histories in the face of rapid changes in the city over the mid-century decades. Tim will relate personal stories of the Todd family’s contributions to this era of Round Rock’s history and development.

Tim is owner of T.A. Todd Construction Inc., specializing in residential remodeling, located in Georgetown, Texas. Tim is a community leader in Georgetown and Round Rock, devoting much of his time giving back to the community where he lives and works.
