I use photography to document the world around me. I make pictures that call attention to things that other people often overlook…I use all types of cameras in my work, though most often, older film cameras and Polaroid materials, which can give surprising results at times. My goal is to take pictures that make people think outside the box, to look at things differently, unconventionally or from a new perspective.

“Mood comes first. Before composition, before color, before anything technical, I start with a feeling I’m trying to put into the world.
My figurative oil paintings are less about capturing likeness and more about creating emotional space. The desire to make art that transcends narrative, that bridges the distance between people through feeling alone, is one of the most fundamentally human impulses I know. That’s what draws me to paint. I want the figure to carry a charge the viewer can feel without being able to fully name it. The way certain songs work, open enough that people with completely different lives can find their own truth in them, that’s what I’m after. Not ambiguity for its own sake, but space for the viewer to bring themselves to the work. To find something real there. I paint what I can’t quite say any other way.”
I will be selling original oil paintings on panels in various sizes. My prices vary from $100 to $750
I will also have prints or print orders available.

My work emerges from layered processes — underpainting, glazing, soft disruptions, and intuitive mark-making — allowing forms to reveal themselves rather than forcing them into place….Flowers, waves, and organic shapes appear often in my work, not as literal representations, but as symbols of survival and transformation.
After years away from the brush, returning to painting felt less like a choice and more like a remembering. The canvas became a place where healing and courage meet. My paintings are built in layers the way we are built in layers — history, rupture, repair, and renewal.
Through Purple Tree Studio, I create work that invites pause — to look closer, to notice subtle connections, and to find light breaking through.

I’m a watercolor artist based in Round Rock, Texas, and the heart behind Alyssa Creates. My work is inspired by the Gulf Coast, especially Louisiana, and all the little things that make it feel so special to me. From quiet marshes and bayous to the wildlife that calls it home, I’m drawn to the peaceful beauty of the coast and the memories tied to it.
My current collection features a wide variety of subjects. From marsh birds and fish to alligators, all while celebrating the wildlife and landscapes of the coast. Along with my collection, I also create custom pieces, working with others to bring their meaningful places, memories, and ideas to life.
I offer original paintings as well as high-quality prints from my catalog, making it easy to find something that feels personal and lasting. Creating art has always been a way for me to slow down and connect, and I hope my pieces do the same for others.

I create luminous pastel paintings with professional soft pastels on sanded archival paper, working Plein Air or in my studio from my own travel photographs to capture authentic light and atmosphere. Each piece begins with time spent on location, observing shifting light, color, and mood, then is refined back in the studio into a finished work that celebrates the beauty of the landscapes I explore. Collectors are drawn to the rich texture, vibrant color, and sense of place that make my pastel paintings feel like a remembered moment in time.

I truly love being able to take simple items like plywood and magazines, and things that would be discarded, and to create them into beautiful works of art. I love how people can look at my art and see different stories and relate to different parts of them, and often there are things that I’ve never would have seen if I hadn’t been able to see my own art through others’ eyes. I like to think that my art is a little cheeky and fun, maybe risqué, but always mindful.

Piped and Printed
Instagram – @pipedandprinted
I design and produce unique handmade and 3D-printed goods, specializing in hand-piped 3D floral artwork created with textured mediums on upcycled frames and canvases, alongside custom 3D-printed items including earrings, keychains, and dried flower vases.
My floral pieces are created by hand-piping textured medium to build dimensional flowers and foliage directly onto upcycled frames and canvases, giving each work depth and sculptural character. I blend the paints to create soft gradients, vibrant blooms, and natural color palettes ranging from bold, expressive florals to muted, calming arrangements. Each piece is piped petal by petal, making every artwork one-of-a-kind while also giving new life to reclaimed materials through color, texture, and careful craftsmanship.
Alongside my floral artwork, I design and produce 3D-printed accessories and décor using PLA, a lightweight and durable plant-based material. My earrings are designed to be fun, lightweight, and comfortable for everyday wear while also offering playful or elegant options for holidays, festivals, and special occasions. I also create tactile, modern vases with textured surfaces that invite touch and serve as functional décor pieces; each vase comes paired with a dried floral bouquet so customers can enjoy a ready-to-display arrangement. My 3D-printed pieces combine practical design with personality, creating items that feel both functional and unique.
