Meet the Artist: Michael B. Whit

Having performed in front of thousands around the nation, American County artist, song writer and producer, Michael B. Whit, continues to wow crowds with his electrifying performances, and has shared festival stages with artists like Cole Swindell, Old Dominion, and Jimmie Allen. A real life cowboy by day, his authentic and unique style is a perfect mixture of a little bit rock and roll with a whole lotta country.
Born and raised in small town Centreville, Illinois, right outside of St. Louis as a preacher’s kid, Michael found early success as a producer for Grammy Award winning trio, Virtue, and has received a Stellar Gospel Award nomination for Producer of the Year with gospel group, Livre.
Michael has also graced Billboards Top 20 Charts three times with his writer/producer contribution to “Everything’s Coming Up Jesus”, by Livre, reaching #1 in its category.
Coming off the recent release of his single “Camp Jackson” reaching Top 100 on Music Row charts; beating out Country legend Alan Jackson and Cody Johnson, and also landing on Top 30 Indy charts, Michael prepares to release his highly anticipated EP, “Before September”.
