Youth Chess (ages 8-14) (preregistration)

Chess is not only a fun and engaging pastime, but also an excellent way to develop critical thinking skills, improve concentration, and promote camaraderie among people of all ages and backgrounds. High school student, Abhinav Tanniru, will run this chess program from 2-4 pm in the second-floor program space.

Attendees will have the opportunity to meet others and play casual chess games in person. Some chess boards will be provided on a first-come, first-served basis. Participants may bring their own chess board, clocks, and notation sheets.
