2026 nominations for the City of Round Rock Local Legends program are being accepted through June 30.
The Local Legends program recognizes individuals or members of families whose contributions to the city were preferably at least 30 years ago. The program also recognizes places, businesses, groups, institutions, publications, and/or organizations that have had a lasting impact on the culture, development and history of Round Rock.
Round Rock Local Legends selections must each have a direct connection to the founding of the City of Round Rock or help tell the complete story of the City of Round Rock.
The Round Rock Historic Preservation Commission, a citizen commission appointed by City Council members to preserve, protect and promote Round Rock’s historic resources, annually names Local Legends from a pool of nominations submitted by the public.
Nominations must be submitted using this nomination form to ensure complete information. Nominations are accepted year-round but must be received by this date to be recognized in 2026.
