Round Rock again listed among best places to live in U.S.

In what may come as no surprise to those that call our community home, Round Rock has again been named one of the best places to live in the U.S.

The listing, curated by Livability annually for more than a decade, sets out to help individuals discover “the most livable cities” in the country. To determine who makes the cut, Livability commissions data on thousands of U.S. Cities considering nearly 100 individual data points across a variety of measures including a city’s economy, housing and cost of living, amenities, transportation, environment, safety, education and health.

In their analysis, Livability noted that Round Rock’s vibrant economy, excellent schools, numerous parks and recreation activities and low cost of living blend together seamlessly.

“Round Rock lures residents with its safe neighborhoods, award-winning park system, cute downtown district, top-notch health care options and plenty of job opportunities. Plus, the costs of living and housing are lower than many of its neighbors, including Austin.”

Round Rock is one of only six Texas cities to be named, the others being Sugar Land, Frisco, Lubbock, Abilene and Tyler.
