The City of Round Rock is initiating design improvements at the intersection of Chandler Road and CR 119 (Ed Schmidt Boulevard) to enhance traffic flow and safety. This project includes the installation of a new traffic signal, the addition of right-turn lanes in both the eastbound and northbound directions, and necessary drainage modifications.

Right turn lane construction is ongoing with signal improvements anticipated for early September 2026. Completion is tentatively scheduled for Fall 2026.
