In accordance with the Master Transportation Plan, CR 118 will be designed as a 4-lane divided arterial from University Dr. to the west of SH 130 but will be reconstructed initially as a 3-lane rural section to serve traffic needs for the foreseeable future.

Project update: May 2026

The 90% design package is expected by Q4 of 2026. The Transportation office is reviewing the latest version of plans and pursuing necessary Right of Way.

This project will smooth the curves near University Dr. and reconstruct the connection at Carmel Creekside.

The bid schedule is currently dependent on right of way and utility relocation.
