City seeks input on public transportation

The City of Round Rock will host an open house on public transportation from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Wednesday, March 4, at the Austin Community College Round Rock campus, 4400 College Park Drive.

We want your feedback regarding transportation issues and needs. Stop by our booth to learn more about the Round Rock Transit Plan, ask questions and provide comments to help us shape transit in Round Rock.

Note: If you need a ride to participate, please call the City’s bus operator at 512-244-7433. Let them know that you are scheduling a ride for the open house.

If you would like to provide your input but cannot attend the open house, you can visit the project website at rrtransitplan.com to learn more about the project and take our survey.

The City is in the early stages of developing a 10-year transit plan. The project will include a comprehensive assessment of transit demand and existing travel patterns. The study will assess opportunities for new transit services within the City, as well as improved regional connections. These findings will result in transit options for the City Council to consider.
