Each year the City dedicates funds to maintain local roadways.  Maintenance consists of milling a few inches of existing asphalt and replacing it with a new asphalt surface.  Additional items of work include roadway patches for failed pavement areas and replacement of failed curb, sidewalk and driveway approaches.  Projects are selected based on the structural condition of the pavement or PCI (pavement condition index). The 2025 Arterial Street Maintenance Program will focus on segments across the city with PCI values below model tolerances. 

The project will focus on repairing sections of University Boulevard, County Road 122, Hoppe Trail, Chisholm Trail Road, Wolle Lane, Chisholm Parkway, North Mays Street, Chisholm Cove, Mays Crossing, Jarrett Way, Michael Angelo Way, and Wadley Place.
