Property Tax Information
The tax rate for FY 2022-2023 is 34.2000 cents per $100 assessed value.
Property taxes are billed in October of each year, but they do not become delinquent until Feb. 1 of the next year.

Hotel Tax Collections
The City of Round Rock Hotel/Motel tax rate is 9 percent of net receipts.
Who must file?
If you are a sole owner, partnership, corporation, or other organization that owns, operates, manages, and/or controls any hotel, motel, “bed and breakfast Inn;” or other locations offering “sleeping rooms” for periods of less than 30 days in the City of Round Rock.
When do I file the report?
Monthly: Last day of the month following the end of the reporting month.
A report must be filed for every period, even if there is no amount subject to tax or tax due.

Bingo Tax Collections
A nonprofit charitable organization that conducts bingo. Pursuant to Texas Occupations Code Section 2001.502(a), “A licensed authorized organization or unit as defined by Section 2001.431 shall: (1) collect from a person who wins a cash bingo prize of more than $5 a fee in the amount of five percent of the amount of the prize…”
Quarterly: Not later than the 25th day of the month succeeding each calendar quarter.
Quarter 1: January – March Report due: April 25
Quarter 2: April – June Report due: July 25
Quarter 3: July – September Report due: October 25
Quarter 4: October – December Report due: January 25
