Event Series Event Series: Beginning Genealogy Workshop

MyHeritage (Beginning Genealogy Workshop)

February 3 @ 9:30 am 11:00 am

The Williamson County Genealogical Society (WCGS) presents a monthly Beginning Genealogy Workshop at the Round Rock Public Library. Join us for a presentation on MyHeritage, facilitated by Alan Rabe, Saturday, Feb. 3, from 9:30 to 11 a.m., Round Rock Public Library, Literacy Classroom, First Floor.

Alan Rabe will lead us through this fantastic website and show us all it has to offer. MyHeritage, founded in 2003, has 96 million users across 196 countries, contains 9 billion Historical Records and maintains 41 million Family Trees. It is the largest website internationally. It is also the most innovative site technically with their living photos, AI photos, and cM Explainer. Trees are individual, but hints are provided from collaborative trees at Geni, WikiTree and FamilySearch trees, which give it a very collaborative feel.
