Getting Started with Wikitree (Beginning Genealogy Workshop)

The Williamson County Genealogical Society (WCGS) presents a monthly Beginning Genealogy Workshop at the Round Rock Public Library. Join us for Getting Started with Wikitree, from 9:30 to 11 a.m., Saturday, Nov. 4, Round Rock Public Library, Tech Lab.

Wikitree is a powerful, collaborative site that allows genealogists to work together to build a one-world tree that’s accurate and accessible (and free!) to everyone. Wikitree can help put your ancestors in their historical context while connecting you with other researchers with similar interests. This workshop will cover what Wikitree is, examples of its many uses, and how to get started on the site.
