Moonlight Movie Night

Upcoming: August 1st – National Treasure
A historian races to find the legendary Templar Treasure before a team of mercenaries.
The event will begin at 7:30pm and the movie will begin at 8:00pm.
Food will be available for purchase from The Dog House.
Beverages will be available for purchase from Summer Moon Coffee and 3rd Level Brewing.

Adventurers, get ready—it’s time to begin,
A hunt through the city, you’re sure to win!
Follow the riddles on the treasure trail,
From creekside rocks to far-off trails.
Each rhyme you solve will point the way,
To local gems where folks laugh and play.
Finish four clues, and you’ll achieve
A Moonlight Movie prize you won’t believe!
No need for a map or compass in hand,
Just follow our social pages to understand.
We’ll drop the clues, so stay on the trail,
This Round Rock adventure will never fail!
Complete just four and don’t forget,
Snap a pic at each spot you get!
Then join us under the movie night sky,
A special prize is waiting nearby!
Clue #1
By Brushy Creek where waters gleam,
A cowboy stands like in a dream.
With boots and hat, he guards the scene,
Near an old inn where guests have been.
The Stagecoach stopped in days gone by—
Can you find it? Give it a try!
Clue #2
Cast your line and take a seat,
The water’s calm, the vibe is sweet.
For fish or fun, you just might knock,
This clue is waiting at the dock!

A spiral path that climbs up high,
With views of baseball fields nearby.
Take the steps and look around,
Your next big clue is upward bound!
Clue #4
A hero’s tool, strong and grand,
It’s not in Asgard—but close at hand!
Off the trail, it hides away,
Can you find where Thor’s hammer might lay?

Not down in San Marcos—no need to roam,
This Bobcat’s found a northern home!
With maroon and gold and pride so bold,
A university story here unfolds.
Find the sign on a stone wall flat,
And don’t forget—Eat ’Em Up, Cats!

A place where everyone’s free to play,
All abilities shine every day!
Climb up high where fun takes root,
This treehouse hideout is super cute!
Final Clue
It’s not a spinner, but it sure stands proud,
A landmark loved by every crowd!

Experience the magic of the Moonlight Movie Nights! Join us on select Fridays from May through August at Yonders Point in Old Settlers Park. Bring your friends, family, and you comfiest gear and immerse yourself in the movie magic under the stars.
