Planetarium Sessions (all ages) (pre-registration only)

March 12, 2024 @ 5:00 pm 7:00 pm

Learn more about space and the upcoming total solar eclipse inside an inflatable planetarium from Stars and Science Austin.

We’ll host multiple sessions inside the planetarium Tuesday evening, and during the day on Wednesday. Some sessions will be targeted for specific ages.

Attendance is free, but you must pre-register to reserve your space in a session. Please arrive 15 minutes before beginning of event. Each participant must have a ticket. All youth must be accompanied by a parent/caregiver.

Those who arrive more than five minutes late will forfeit their space(s).

The planetarium will be in the 1st Floor Meeting Rooms.

We thank The Friends of the Round Rock Public Library for making this program possible. The Friends is a non-profit volunteer group dedicated to supporting and extending the impact of the Library in our community.

Attendees may also be offered a pair of solar safety glasses, one per family, while supplies last. These glasses are made available thanks to a grant from the Gordon and Betty Moore Foundation, the Space Science Institute, and the NASA Science Mission Directorate.

Learn more about glasses distribution at RRPL.
