Powerful Tools for Caregivers Series – Communicating in Challenging Situations (preregistration)

The Round Rock Public Library invites all caregivers to attend our AGE of Central Texas: Powerful Tools for Caregivers Series, which takes place at the Round Rock Public Library, in the Legacy Conference Room, starting Tuesday, October 10, from 10:00 am – 11:30 am. 

Powerful Tools for Caregivers gives you the skills to take care of yourself while caring for someone else. By taking care of your own health and well-being, you become a better caregiver. Six class sessions held once a week are led by experienced class leaders.  Class size is limited, and registration is required; email or call the number listed to register. 

The following topics will be covered in each session:

October 10: Taking Care of You
October 17: Identifying and Reducing Personal Stress
October 24: Communicating Feelings, Needs and Concerns
October 31: Communicating in Challenging Situations
November 7: Learning from Our Emotions
November 14: Mastering Caregiving Decisions
