The 2018 event has been canceled due to forecast heavy rain

Christmas Family Night, which kicks off the holiday season in Downtown Round Rock, will take place on Friday, Dec. 7, starting at 6:30 p.m. Be advised of the following road closures:

• 4:00 a.m. — Cones will be placed in the parking spots on Main Street from Blair to Sheppard to prevent additional cars from parking on the street. Please note that the road will remain open to traffic until 12:00 p.m.
• 6:00 a.m. — Lampasas Street from the parking garage (garage will remain accessible) to the alleyway on the north side of E. Main to be closed.
• Noon — Main Street from Brown to Sheppard closed. There will still be accessible north-south routes on Blair and Mays at this time.
• 3:00 p.m. — Mays Street from Bagdad to Liberty closed. Round Rock Avenue at the roundabout closed.

Roads will reopen at the conclusion of the event after a street sweeper cleans the area.
