City of Round Rock to host job fair April 22

The City of Round Rock will host an in-person job fair to provide opportunities for local talent to connect with City Departments to fill critical vacancies and help job seekers find a fulfilling career opportunity.

Job seekers will have opportunities to meet face-to-face with hiring managers regarding openings from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday, April 22 at the United Heritage Center at Dell Diamond, 3400 E. Palm Valley Blvd. Attendees are invited to bring copies of their resume.

The City has recently taken several steps to retain and recruit employees, including increasing pay rates across the organization. Round Rock is well known for its strong management, and was awarded the ETC Institute’s national “Leading the Way Award” this year for its outstanding achievement in the delivery of services to residents.

Round Rock boasts a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental and vision insurance, Texas Municipal Retirement System retirement, Flexible Spending Accounts, Deferred Compensation, an Employee Assistance Program and more.

More than 30 job titles currently have openings, and include a wide range of positions such as bus driver, systems mechanic, development technician, building plans examiner, project manager, senior planner, facility maintenance technician, animal control officer, treatment plant operator senior and budget manager.
