City offices closed for Martin Luther King Jr. Day

City offices, including the Baca CenterMunicipal Court and Utility Billing Office will be closed Monday, Jan. 19 for Martin Luther King Jr. Day. Utility bills and court-related fines can be paid online.

The Clay Madsen Recreation Center will be open from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m.

On Saturday, Jan. 17 from 1-3 p.m., the Round Rock Black History Organization, with participation from the Round Rock Independent School District and support from the City of Round RockRound Rock Public LibraryRound Rock Parks and Recreation and Round Rock Police Department, presents the 39th Annual Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Walk and Celebration.

March participants will line up at Burke Realty Group (3121 Eagles Nest St., Suite 160) before proceeding to Sweet Home The Pinnacle of Praise (3200 Sunrise Road) for the program, beginning at 2 p.m.

The public is invited to walk in the march. Banners are allowed.
