City seeks food truck for Rock’N River Waterpark concessions

The City of Round Rock Parks and Recreation Department is seeking a food truck vendor to provide concessions at the Rock’N River Waterpark located inside Old Settlers Park (3300 E. Palm Valley Blvd.).

Vendors who serve lunch options suited for waterpark patrons (handheld food, pizza, tacos, sandwiches etc.), including unique food items, offered at an affordable price point are preferred. There is currently not a need for sno-cones, ice cream, hamburgers, hot dogs or funnel cakes.

Rock’N River, which typically sees 1800-2000 people pass through its gates daily during regular operation, officially opens for 2017 on Saturday, May 27. The contract for concessions would ideally run June 2 through Aug. 20 from 12 to 7 p.m. and Labor Day weekend 12 to 6 p.m. The park is closed Wednesdays throughout the season.

Interested parties should submit a photo of their truck, a sample menu with pricing and any other information pertinent to their application via email to nbohner@roundrocktexas.gov with “FOOD TRUCK SUBMITTAL” as the subject.

Additional questions should be directed to (512) 341-3171.
