The City of Round Rock’s video productions keep getting noticed as they took home six awards recently.

At the TATOA (Texas Association of Telecommunications Officers and Advisors) conference held in November in Austin, the City took home the first place trophy for Overall Excellence in Programming. Our Video Text Bulletin Board also took first place. We got a second and third for Use of Humor for the Fire Department’s Talkin’ Turkey and Talkin’ Trees videos. Finally, the Fire Department’s Night Extraction video got third in the Documentary category.

Earlier this year, the City won a combined five awards from the City-County Communications and Marketing Association and Texas Association of Municipal Information Officers for outstanding video production.
