The City of Round Rock took home seven awards for communications and marketing at last month’s 2025 City-County Communications and Marketing Association (3CMA) annual conference.
The awards recognized outstanding work produced by the City’s Communications and Marketing Department and the Round Rock Police Department.

- Most Innovative Communications, for the Round Rock Police Department’s use of social media trends and innovative video strategies to connect with the public
- Awards of Excellence:
- Video: Public Service Announcement, for Round Rock’s Love Actually Fireworks PSA
- Photography: Multi-Image Use, for Round Rock’s 9/11 Stair Climb and Flag Memorial
- Photography: Single-Image Use, for “All American Boy”: A Portrait of Unity at Round Rock’s Independence Day Parade
The Savvy Awards competition recognizes outstanding local government achievements in communications, public-sector marketing and citizen-government relationships. The awards have represented the best in government communications for more than 30 years, saluting skilled and effective city, county, agency or district professionals who have creatively planned and carried out successful innovations in communications and marketing.
