Round Rock Firefighters responded to a reported house fire at 8:01 a.m. Friday, July 28, in the 500 block of Golden Creek Drive.

On arrival units found the single family home with fire coming out of the garage doors. The fire was quickly extinguished with damage to a vehicle in the garage, and the attic above the garage.

Fire loss is estimated at $85,000 for the structure and $60,000 for the contents of the garage. The fire is believed to be unintentional, but under investigation for insurance purposes.
