No one injured in Round Rock house fire

At approximately 3:58 p.m. Friday, Nov. 24, the Round Rock Fire Department was dispatched to a reported residential structure fire at 820 Expedition Way. Round Rock Engine 4 arrived at 5:04 p.m., advised heavy smoke conditions and fire showing from a 3,500-square-foot, two-story residence.

Firefighters performed a primary search and fire attack when they were able to rescue a feline from the fire and return to its owner safely.

The residence had approximately $200,000 dollars in damage and fire was confined to the second floor by firefighters.
The cause of the fire is currently under investigation by the Fire Marshal’s Office. All fire units cleared the incident by 9:15 p.m.

There were no civilian injuries during the incident.
