Police locate body of missing person

UPDATE (9/8): Round Rock Police have located the deceased body of Daniel Eaves, who was reported missing Saturday afternoon. His death does not appear to be a suspicious at this time.
 
The 77-year-old Round Rock resident was found Sunday morning along Brushy Creek near the intersection of Red Bud Lane and E Palm Valley Blvd. He was reported to have left his home to drive to a trail to go for a walk.
 

ORIGINAL POST (9/7): Round Rock police are searching for a 77-year-old Round Rock man who disappeared Saturday afternoon after leaving for a walking trail. Daniel Eaves stands 6 feet tall, weighs 285 pounds, and has short gray hair and a beard. He wears glasses and has blue eyes. He left his home shortly after 1 p.m. wearing a white shirt with blue pinstripes, blue jeans, dark blue canvass slip-on shoes, and an Australian-style cowboy hat.

Eaves reportedly has several medical conditions and left without his cell phone or medication. He left his home driving a black Toyota Rav4. If anyone has information regarding the whereabouts of Daniel Eaves, they should contact the Department at (512) 218-5500.
