Missing woman found safe

Tonia Henderson has been found and is in good condition. Around 3:30 p.m Sunday, March 31, Henderson was discovered in a parked vehicle while police officers were canvassing the residencies in the 1200 block of Old Settlers Boulevard. She was checked out by EMS and appeared to be in good health.

“Thanks to all Round Rock residents for keeping an eye out, helping to spread the word, praying, and offering to do whatever was needed,” Round Rock Police Commander Jim Stuart said. “It was inspiring to see Round Rock neighbors and regional law enforcement agencies come together to return Tonia to her family.”

The more than 48-hour search involved numerous agencies and resources, including Texas Search and Rescue helicopters and boats, an Austin Police helicopter, a Williamson County drone, Round Rock, Georgetown, and Cedar Park fire departments, Round Rock Emergency Management, Williamson County Emergency Services, and multiple K9 units, including one from the Hutto Police Department.

Henderson, 27, was last seen near Old Settlers Boulevard and Mesa Park Drive around 1 p.m. Friday, March 29.
