Registration for Girls Empowerment Week opens March 19

Girls Empowerment Week is a week-long program designed for girls aged 11-14 to unlock their full potential, build confidence, and be inspired by female leaders from various fields. The program encourages participants to step outside their comfort zones, embrace challenges, and develop the skills needed to lead with strength and resilience.

Throughout the week, participants will engage in a variety of activities that promote teamwork, leadership, and resilience. Modeled after a law enforcement academy, the program includes physical training such as an obstacle course, marching, and rappelling. Girls will also have the opportunity to explore specialized equipment like patrol and SWAT vehicles, K-9 units, and more.

The curriculum empowers participants by covering important topics such as personal safety, self-defense, building healthy relationships, and leadership skills. Additionally, local field trips will provide valuable insights into community safety and highlight the vital role of women in law enforcement and other leadership positions.

This year’s Girls Empowerment Week will take place from July 28 to July 31, running daily from 8 AM to 5 PM.
