Round Rock Police arrest Georgetown man on drug and weapons charges

The Round Rock Police Department arrested a Georgetown man last week on multiple drug charges and unlawful possession of a machine gun.

On Wednesday, September 10, officers executed a search warrant at the residence of 19-year-old Kevin Jaramillo. During the search, officers recovered several firearms, including a Glock handgun equipped with a “switch” device that converts it into a fully automatic weapon.

In addition to the illegal firearm, officers seized multiple extended and drum-style magazines, along with several hundred rounds of ammunition. Evidence collected at the scene also led to multiple drug-related charges.

Jaramillo was arrested without incident and booked into the Williamson County Jail. The investigation is ongoing, and no further information is available at this time.
