Stagecoach Inn relocation celebration postponed

The public is invited to kick off the restoration phase of the Stagecoach Inn project at a celebration of the building’s recent successful location to Chisholm Trail.

The celebration will take place from 10 to 11:30 a.m. on Saturday, Nov. 3, starting on the back patio of the Williamson Museum on the Chisholm Trail (8 Chisholm Trail Road), then moving to the Stagecoach Inn’s new site for photos. The event will also include a brief documentary video created by the City of Round Rock about the move.

The Stagecoach Inn was moved over the weekend of April 27-29 to its new perch on Brushy Creek along Chisholm Trail. Since 1848, it sat at what is now 901 RM 620, a location that sits in the path of the realignment of RM 620. Non-profit Round Rock Preservation is now working to restore the building using private donations.
