Traffic along the Chisholm Trail South project will shift from Oct. 8 through Nov. 1.

The immediate change is necessary after crews discovered unknown utilities while installing a storm drain, requiring them to relocate work areas while they develop a solution.

During this time, southbound traffic on Chisholm Trail Road between Sam Bass Road and Emmanuel Street will be detoured to the I-35 frontage road to Sunset Drive in order to access Chisholm Trail south. On-street parking will not be available.

Construction will pause from November through December 2025 for the holidays and will resume in early 2026.

Drivers should follow detour signage and use caution around work zones.
