This weekly, interactive program includes a variety of activities. Every week enjoy books and fingerplays. Many weeks you’ll find a little extra sparkle, with fun additions such as puppets, creative movement, play activities, or sometimes even a short film.

Families with children of all ages are welcome, but children ages 18 months – 6 years old will enjoy it best.

Special Local Authors Family Storytime

The Round Rock Public Library presents a very special Family Storytime featuring authors from today’s Local Author Book Fair.

We’ll gather in the Gallery to enjoy this sampler of local talent. A slate of readers will present from noon to 1 p.m. Arrive when you can, stay as long as you like.

This activity replaces the usual weekly Family Storytime.

Homeschool Creative Writing Games (ages 10-13)

Come have fun playing creative writing games, activities and lessons with tween friends. This session is for tweens (ages 10-13).

This free, fun activity is part of a monthly series of programs made available through a partnership with Stars Of Texas Homeschoolers. Look for more homeschool fun at Round Rock Public Library every month.

Santa visits the library

Santa Claus is sitting next to a lit Christmas treeSanta is visiting the library!

Bring the kids, meet your favorite old elf, and snaps some photos.

Before and after your turn with Santa, enjoy come-and-go fun at an adjacent Construction Zone activity. This activity features the library’s giant sets of LEGO(R) bricks, Keva Planks, SmartMax magnets, and other blocks and building sets.

Both events are free and open to people of all ages.

Homeschool Winter Holidays

Come explore different winter holidays by picking a country and researching how they celebrate Christmas or a winter holiday.  Present your project to the group!  We will also have games and activities for the kids.

This free, fun activity is part of a monthly series of programs made available through a partnership with Stars Of Texas Homeschoolers. Look for more fun at Round Rock Public Library on the third Monday of every month.

We’ll gather from 12:30 – 2:00 pm in Meeting Room B. Please bring a shareable dish/snack and a gift worth under $5 for a gift exchange game.
