Toddlertime

The Round Rock Public Library presents Toddlertime, a reading activity for children ages 18 months – 3 years, along with their caregivers.

This interactive program supports pre-reading skills to build a strong foundation for learning–and the joys of learning–among pre-readers.

Before and after the program, families are invited to explore a play area together. The play area features rotating activities, which might include finger-friendly items, art materials, construction materials, and/or science-friendly materials.

Our regular Toddlertime schedule is:

  • Wednesdays, 9:30 a.m. in Room A
  • Wednesdays, 10:30 a.m. in Room A
  • Thursdays, 10:30 a.m. in Room B
  • Fridays, 10:30 a.m. in Room A

You do not need to pre-register to attend Toddlertime unless you are bringing six or more children.

For more information, or to pre-register a group, contact Andrea Warkentin, 512-218-7011.

Family Construction Play Zone

Head over to the Round Rock Public Library for some collaborative construction as we bring out the Library’s large collections of LEGOs, Keva Planks, SmartMax magnet sets, and a variety of blocks for the entire family to enjoy.

It’s free, come-and-go constructive fun, 9:30 – 11 a.m. This activity is best enjoyed by children who are at least 1 year old. It replaces our regular morning programs, Babytime, Toddlertime, and Preschool Storytime.

Santa is visiting the library and meeting his fans next to this activity.

For more information, contact the Children’s Reference Desk at (512) 218-3275.
