WEDNESDAY, MARCH 4, UPDATE: The victim in Tuesday’s shooting had died. He has been identified as 17-year-old Brian Navarro. Suspect Gabriel Hernandez, 17, has been arrested for murder. It appears that the two subjects knew each other. The Police Department is aware of no specific threat to the public. The investigation is ongoing.

ORIGINAL TUESDAY, MARCH 3, POST: At approximately 1 p.m. Tuesday, Round Rock Police officers responded to reports of shots fired in the 1500-block of Ashwood Court. One victim showed up at a local hospital with an apparent gunshot wound. The scene is secure. The investigation is ongoing at this time.
