Additional charges filed in association with the Branham murder

On Sept. 22, the Round Rock Police charged five subjects for their role in the robbery of Christopher Branham – Anthony Davis of Pflugerville, Kyle Cleveland of Whitesboro, Jamil Watford of Pflugerville, Jesse Perkins of Austin, and a juvenile female. Davis, 26, and Cleveland, 30, were already booked into the Travis County Jail, having been arrested Aug. 5 on charges of murdering Branham.

Branham, 26, went missing on June 24, when he was last seen at the Red Roof Inn at 1990 N IH-35 in Round Rock. His body was found July 31 in a corn field in the 14000-block of FM 1100 near Manor. It is believed Branham was robbed June 24 at the hotel and then shot and killed shortly after in the corn field.

The Texas Rangers, U.S. Marshals Service, and the Travis County Sheriff’s Office were among the other agencies assisting on this case. The murder case has been filed with the Travis County District Attorney’s Office.
