Bank of America robbery suspect arrested

On, Thursday, Oct. 9, Austin Police and the FBI made an arrest in the robbery that occurred on Oct. 7 at the Bank of America, 2651 IH-35, Round Rock. The suspect is identified as Cory Russell Fegley, 36 of Austin.

On Tuesday, Oct. 7 at approximately 10:35 a.m. officers responded to a robbery at the bank. A white male, entered the bank and threatened a weapon within a note to the teller. The suspect fled the scene before officers arrived in an unknown direction. Surveillance photos of the suspect provided by the banks security cameras led to him being recognized.

Detectives were able to identify the suspect as Fegley and issued a warrant for his arrest. Fegley was arrested at an Austin residence.
