Building Inspection and Permitting Division relocates to McConico Building - City of Round Rock

Building Inspection and Permitting Division relocates to McConico Building

The Building Inspections and Permitting Division moved to the first floor of the McConico Building, 301 W. Bagdad Ave., on Monday, Sept 23.

The division had been located at 2008 Enterprise Drive, which is several miles from the other divisions of the Planning and Development Services (PDS) Department. This move will improve the customer experience, as building permits will now be obtained in the same facility as site permits, platting, subdivision improvements, and zoning applications. Direct contact between PDS staff and the public will be made possible without the need to travel from one part of the City to the other.

Building Inspections, Planning, Code Enforcement, and Development Services are all excited about this move and the opportunity it presents to further improve the development process for our customers.
