City Council public hearing for new downtown zoning districts set for July 11

At its June 5, 2013 meeting, the Planning and Zoning Commission recommended the creation of the downtown mixed-use zoning districts and the related rezoning amendment.

The City Council will consider these two actions in separate meetings.  First, on July 11 at 7:00 pm at City Hall, the Council will hold a public hearing to consider the creation of the districts.  The rezoning of properties to the new districts will occur at a separate public hearing after the Council has adopted the creation of the districts.

Please refer to the downtown rezoning page for more information about the three proposed mixed-use zoning districts and rezoning of downtown properties.

If you have additional questions that are not addressed on the downtown rezoning page, contact Senior Planner Joelle Jordan at 512-218-5422 or Planner Brad Dushkin at 512-671-2728. Para información en español sobre la propuesta de rezonificación del centro, por favor llame al 512-218-5428.
