The City of Round Rock is now hiring for its summer internship program.
The program is designed to provide an on-the-job opportunity to gain real world work experience in a career-related professional workforce environment. The City of Round Rock is regularly recognized for its strong management and outstanding delivery of services to residents. Pay for the following positions starts at $16 hourly:
- Intern – Transportation
- Intern – Finance
- Intern – Human Resources
- Intern – Information Technology Support
- Intern – Information Technology, GIS
- Intern – Communications and Marketing
- Intern – Police Department (Civilian)
- Intern – Planning and Development Services
- Intern – General Services, Building Construction
- Intern – Library Summer Reading Program
- Intern – Sports Management and Tourism, Multimedia
- Intern – Sports Management and Tourism, Summer Youth Camp
Requirements
High School Intern:
- Must be enrolled full-time in high school
- Must be classified as a Senior student
OR
Undergraduate Intern:
- Must be enrolled as a full-time or recent graduate of an accredited university or college;
- Must be classified (or most recently classified) as an undergraduate student;
- Must be able to provide an unofficial transcript and resume; and,
- Must have a minimum overall GPA of 2.5 on a 4.0 scale
OR
Graduate Intern:
- Must be enrolled full-time or a recent graduate of an accredited university or college;
- Must be classified (or most recently classified) as a graduate student;
- Must be able to provide an unofficial transcript and resume; and,
- Must have a minimum overall GPA of 2.5 on a 4.0 scale
