A Houston man is facing a first-degree felony charge after Round Rock Police arrested him on Wednesday, November 26, 2025, for compelling prostitution.
Officers arrested 39-year-old Brandon Williams after receiving a tip reporting possible human trafficking at a residence in southeast Round Rock. The caller told police that a female relative was being held against her will and forced to engage in sex acts, and that the property may have been operating as a short-term rental.
When officers arrived, they made contact with three adults at the location. They were identified as Williams and two women in their 20s, all from Houston. One of the women told officers that Williams had transported them from Houston to Round Rock to engage in prostitution and was preventing them from leaving. Officers also found a handgun in Williams’ possession.
Investigators believe the incident was isolated. Both women were provided support and connected with available resources.
Under Texas Penal Code 43.05, compelling prostitution occurs when a person knowingly causes another to engage in prostitution through force, threat, coercion, or fraud. If convicted, Williams faces a sentence ranging from five to 99 years in prison.
