"Imagine a Day Without Water" contest winners recognized - City of Round Rock

“Imagine a Day Without Water” contest winners recognized

Round Rock Mayor Craig Morgan and members of the City Council recognized four winners of the City’s “Imagine a Day Without Water” poster contest.

Seoyoul Kim was the winner of the category for ages 5-7, Claire Choi was the winner of the 8-10 category, and Jisoo Shin and Violet Hewett won the 11-15 category. Participants were asked to create a poster with the theme “Imagine a Day Without Water” to help raise awareness on the importance of water to our everyday lives.

The contest was launched in conjunction with Imagine a Day Without Water, which was recognized by cities across the country on Oct. 10. This nationwide day of education and advocacy about the value of water emphasizes the need for water almost all aspects of life, in addition to the systems that bring water to and from our homes and businesses.
