Big, glowing holiday cheer is coming back to Round Rock for two nights this December as the city hosts its annual Light Up the Lake festival at Old Settlers Park.
The two-day holiday celebration is set for Friday, Dec. 5, and Saturday, Dec. 6, 2025, around Bright Lake and the festival area at Old Setters Park, 3300 E. Palm Valley Blvd. The event will feature giant illuminated balloons hovering over the lake, a large-scale light show, holiday displays, food and refreshments, crafts, family activities and a yule log, among other seasonal attractions.
Live music will take place on the new Lakeview Stage. Elevation Band will perform Friday night, and the Austin Symphonic Band will headline Saturday. City leaders are scheduled to welcome guests each evening from the Lakeview Stage.
Organizers noted the festival is a walking event. Pathways include sidewalks and grass terrain, and attendees are encouraged to plan accordingly.
