Make your spirits bright at Round Rock’s holiday events

Mark your calendars for a season filled with joy and celebration! Round Rock is making spirits bright with these holiday events:

Hometown Holidays

Downtown Round Rock transforms into a perfect hometown backdrop for your family photos from Dec. 1-31 in the evenings. This annual event transforms Downtown Round Rock into a sea of glittering trees with interactive holiday decor and live music. Holiday sounds will fill the air with nightly live music Tuesday-Saturday, Nov. 28-Dec. 23. Enjoy full bands in Prete Plaza on Wednesday nights or more intimate acoustic musicians in the parklets and at the Round Rock Public Library courtyard on Tuesdays, Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays.

Holiday Model Train Exhibit

From Dec. 13-30, the Holiday Model Train Exhibit returns to the new Round Rock Public Library at 200 E. Liberty Ave. Open Wednesday through Sunday from noon to 5 p.m., this free activity invites families to explore and interact with model trains. A perfect outing for future engineers young and old, the exhibit is a great way to dive into the holiday spirit.

Light Up the Lake (EVENT HAS PASSED)

Light Up the Lake brings glowing holiday cheer to Old Settlers Park on Dec. 1 and 2. Held from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m. each evening, this holiday festival features spectacular giant balloons, an amazing light show, live music, holiday displays and family activities. The Function Band Texas and Zach Carney will headline the main stage, with additional performances by Giddy Up Go and North of Luck. Visit roundrocktexas.gov/lightupthelake for more info.
