New program enables discussion about leadership, personal development

Are you a young professional? Would you like to discuss current topics in personal development or business with other like-minded thinkers? The Round Rock Public Library is hosting a “BYOBook” (Bring Your Own Book), a monthly club dedicated to helping learners with sharing knowledge through peer-to-peer discussions on recent topics in personal development or business, on the second Thursday of every month. Join us for our next meeting, Oct. 13, from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., Round Rock Public Library, Meeting Room B.

Targeted specifically to young professionals, this moderated “book club” is different from a normal book club. There is no set topic or designated book to read. Participants will come prepared to share a recent insight on a business or leadership topic gained from a book, podcast, article, blog, or webinar. BYOBook is a peer group where voracious knowledge seekers facilitate learning and discussion in an informal setting.
